Techknow Tuesdays!

New For 2012 - Training Classes!

Due to an overwhelming number of requests for training classes, the Gurus are proud to announce the creation of Techknow Tuesdays!  The first class is coming up on January 17th, 2012 and will be a basic computing class for beginers.  We already have many classes planned for the upcoming months.  A few topics we will cover are basic computing, digital photography, protecting your online identity, social media, marketing your small business, how to buy and sell on ebay, using google, email options, word, excel, powerpoint, and many more.  Be sure to follow us on facebook and sign up for our email newsletter to stay informed of all of the exciting things taking place with the Gurus in 2012.

January 2012:

24th - Basic Computing 101 - Part 1: Entry Level.  You will learn basic computer skills such as how to navigate around your computer screen and perform basic computing functions.  This is the first in a two class session addressing basic computing.  This is an entry level class for the computer novice.

31st - Basic Comuting 101 - Part 2: Entry Level.  This is part two of the Basic Computing 101 class.  We will follow up on the skills you learned in the first class and continue learning basic skills.  This is an entry level class for the computer novice.

February 2012:

7th - The Internet: Entry Level. You will learn how to navigate the world wide web, get the most out of search engines and find the information you want to obtain while online.  We will also discuss what a web browser is and how to save favorite sites, check email, send attachments and more.
