Recovery Media

Most computer systems no longer include "Recovery Media" (Disks or CDs used to restore your computer system to its factory shipped state).   Many do not even include Operating System disks.

This is not specific to systems purchased from any one company, but now standard practice throughout the entire industry.

However, many manufacturers include software on the hard drive that creates recovery media for you. This allows burning your own set of recovery CDs or DVDs - all you need is the blank media. 

The latest version of Microsoft Office is now on the market under the title of Office 2010.  There are many useful features and enhancements that have been added since the last release which was Office 2007.  There are several versions available for you to purchase.  Home and Student provides you with Word, Excel and PowerPoint and you can install it on three computers.  Home and Business includes Outlook and can only be installed in two computers.  The Professional version gives you Access and Publisher but also comes at a premium cost of around $500.  Click the link below to compare versions and then call us when you have questions.
